Tata Batera

Tatá Batera is a Brazilian drummer well known for her versatility. She toured for ten years with Brazilian Christian artist Rubão Lima with whom she first toured in the USA. In Brazil she was part of "Ella por Elas" and "Elis por Elas", tribute projects to Ella Fitzgerald and Brazilian singer Elis Regina. She's been living in Los Angeles since 2019 and has played with many artists like, Azar Lawrence (McCoy Tyner, Miles Davis and John Coltrane), Justin Chart (Universal Music Group) and Sabine Pothier. She toured all across the USA for two years with the Russian-American band The Red Elvises. She is, currently, part of Todd and The Brazilians, a Brazilian jazz group led by the pianist Todd Hunter (Dionne Warwick’s music director for 20 years). The group has been collaborating with Antonia Bennett (Tony Bennett’s daughter) on recordings and tours.
