FRANCESCA CAPASSO
Vocalist FRANCESCA CAPASSO is a Texas-born singer of Mexican-American and Italian-American heritage, brings a soulful, powerful style shaped by a blend of country, blues, and rock influences. Performing since age 2, she gained early experience in Puerto Rico, recording TV commercials and live shows before moving to Los Angeles, where she worked with music legends like Bobby Taylor, Sam Andrew, and Buddy Miles. She performed with the USO in 1994 and later signed a development deal with Sony/CBS.
After founding her band Francesca and the Flames, their album Rebel Chile earned a nomination for LA Music Awards’ Best Rock CD. Francesca continued her career with music for Centaur Entertainment, TV spots, commercial jingles, and performances with stars like Branscombe Richmond. Her work includes collaborations with top musicians, and she has opened for notable acts like Robben Ford, Joe Cocker, and The Fabulous Thunderbirds. A cancer survivor, she’s also appeared on Shameless and continues to perform with dynamic, heartfelt passion.
